If you are looking for a watercolour painting course that has a level to suit both beginners, and the more advanced student. Then! this is the course for you. You will be based in the lovely Maison Lahon, a 19th century house with a studio and converted barn; a swimming pool, 10 acres of garden and a small wood. Lahon is surrounded by some of the most beautiful landscape in the South - West of France and is situated twenty minutes north of the city of Pau, and about 40 minute journey to the Pyrenees.

Following my first course in July 2006 in this lovely location, and was one which proved to be both interesting, and successful I am pleased to say that in 2007 I will be running 2 further courses. Details shown below.

The main objectives of the courses is to provide you with the opportunity to learn in a relaxed, and attractive setting while having fun - The courses will be quite informal and you will be encouraged to work both outdoors, and in the studio, also to use your sketch book to record some of the scenes you will encounter each day throughout the course. The dates of which are shown below:-

June 3rd - June 9th Water-colour course. (special emphasis is placed on painting skies and using colour glazes)

Sept 9th - Sept 15th Drawing Course. (with some watercolour)
